Notes on Creativity

Last year I wrote a book. Two books, actually.

There was the novel, which was *quite* a mammoth achievement and one that I am very proud of (and am about the embark on the publishing journey for – wish me luck?). But the other book, Notes on Creativity, was equally a joy for different reasons.

I wrote that book in between the cracks of the pandemic, pivoting my business, navigating living in a new city and coming home to my true self.

Clicking through the pages now, it’s hard to describe exactly what this book is, other than a collection of notes, essays and thoughts on creativity, written throughout 2020 (okay, I think one essay was from 2019, but who’s counting?).

I put this book together with grand ideas of getting it printed as a coffee table book, which still may happen, but for the time being, the Universe had other plans.

It encouraged me to pursue a live course called Build Your Creative Business (which I’ll be opening enrolments for again soon), and my sweet book got left behind.

So today, I am claiming its magic, and celebrating that I did a thing, and it’s a thing I’m really proud of. The musings within were written to soothe you and I.

I hope you love it as much as I do, and choose to invest in my art and fuelling your creative practice.

A little PDF can go a long way.

Love, Viv
