Energised and Excited

I feel really fucking good today.

I don’t know if it’s my cute outfit or getting the all clear at my biannual skin check (have you got yours yet?) or if it’s because of the Monday Manifestation call I take part in at the start of every week, but I’m feeling really bloody energised and excited for the week ahead.

This is a pleasant relief, considering I was googling job opportunities at 10pm last night (yeah, it’s been that kind of sales month) and stressing about money and going away and all the annoying life admin that suddenly feels like a big suffocating deal late on a Sunday night.

But I pulled out of it. I got up early and started my day with my morning ritual: Vipassana meditation, breathwork and tapping and decided to treat myself to a chai at a cafe after today’s skin check.

In other words, I took control of the situation and my mood, in the best way I know how: self work and love. It’s not always the easiest option, and when you feel like shit it can feel like an extra hard slog to press play on the guided meditation, but my god it works. Every single time.

I’ve yet to come out of a morning practice feeling shitty. It’s impossible for me to feel the same as I did at the beginning of my ritual. No matter how dire things seem, or how much stress I’m holding in my body, meditating, breathwork and tapping always help. They lighten the load and offer me clarity in a way that bypasses my lizard brain. I feel safe, supported and held, all by my self.

I share this with you today because I’ve recently launched my first course, 14 Days of Flow, and share these rituals (and much, much more) within it. I designed the course to support creatives drop into their flow state and am so excited for the possibilities and opportunities it can offer my students.

It’s the type of learning experience I wish I had two years ago, five years ago, ten years ago, and I’m so grateful to be in a position where I can share my insight, experiences and practices with you.

I won’t go on much more about it (if it sounds like your jam you can enrol here) but I will say this: if you feel called to create something, create it. Even if you’ve never used the medium before or expressed yourself in that way or created for that reason, push through the fear and uncertainty and give it a go anyway. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to experience.

Love, Viv
